In the increasingly fierce world wide aerospace market, new challenges must be overcome by the European Industry when working to build the most advanced product on the market on time and at the lowest cost.

Engineers and scientists need to increase their knowledge continuously in the Aerospace environment, Integrated Product Development, Systems and Multinational Project Management, and to enhance their skills in cultural awareness, communications, team building and the team process.

The Institute/Industry ECATA Consortium, composed of seven leading Aerospace Institutes and the major Aerospace Manufacturers, is widely recognised as one of the leaders in these fields.

With a tradition of innovation since its creation in 1988, ECATA has developed a range of courses designed by professionals for professionals.
The annual "Aerospace Business Integration" course has been attended by engineers and scientists from more than 30 European companies, research centres and government agencies in Europe.

The active ECATA Alumni network (ECALAS) promotes cooperation within the European Aerospace Community.
